Hyderabad, January 27: (Siasat News) Governor of A.P. Mr. E.S.L Narasimhan promised that his Govt. is bound to provide corruption free development and prosperity of the people. In addition to this, the state will make efforts to maintain communal harmony and peaceful atmosphere in the state. There will be no place for terrorist activities in the state. He praised the state administration for tackling extremist activities in a severe manner. The Governor was addressing a gathering of the citizens at Parade Ground after inspecting the Republic Day Parade.
Continuing his address, he mentioned the special attention paid by the State Govt. for the development of Weaker sections. He mentioned the schemes of scholarships and fees reimbursement to the students.
Govt. provided scholarships to 27 lakh students with an expenditure of Rs. 400 crore. The Govt. made a representation to the Central Govt. for the inclusion of six more districts in the integrated action plan. These districts are: Karimnagar, Warangal, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam. More developmental works could be undertaken in these districts under this scheme. The Govenor told that the Govt. is bound to provide corruption free and transparent governance to the people. Govt. is trying to open “Mee Seva” centers in the state to facilitate people in getting various certificates easily. He mentioned the employment scheme for youths which promises 15 lakh jobs by the end of 2014. He mentioned that under Industrial Investment Policy 2010-15 eveyr year 5 lakh jobs would be provided to youths. He made a special mention of partnership summit in which agreements were reached for the investments of Rs. 6.48 lakh core. He said that the fate of the country is in the hands of the children.
