New Delhi: Former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh speaking at Rajkot had said that Modi government had proved its incompetitiveness in dealing with corruption.
He said that, in 10 year UPA rule, strict action was taken against those who had corruption charges on them. But the BJP had not acted on those against whom corruption charges had been levelled.
On the National Security front, Mr. Singh had said that our national security has been hurt by the inconsistent foreign policies of this Government.
On Narmada issue, Mr. Singh rubbished the claims of Modi that during his tenure as CM he met Manmohan Singh to discuss the matter. Manmohan Singh said that Modi never discussed with him regarding Narmada and he also clarified that he never refused to meet Modi as CM.
He said that as a Prime Minister of India, it was his responsibility to meet all CM’s of the Country.
