Corrupt BJP team surrendered power to congress: palvai

“Undoubtedly the people in Karnataka had voted the Congress to power only because they were fed up with corrupt practices under the BJP regime”, said Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy here today.
Speaking to the media at the CLP office here on Monday, Palvai said, “Karnataka election results would open the eyes of corrupt leaders and the people are very intelligent”, he added.
Palvai said the Centre and State governments should act on the tainted ministers’ issue. He said he left the issue to the wisdom of the tainted ministers whether to tender resignation or to stick to their positions. He said, however, the Chief Minister and the party high command have to take a decision on tainted Ministers issue. “The party would take an appropriate decision on tainted ministers issue”, he added.
He said AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi responded in a positive manner and agreed to conduct a special review meeting for Telangana MPs. He said he told Rahul Gandhi that the YSRCP increased its strength in the Andhra region as there was no powerful leader to face him. (NSS)
