Minister for Health Dr C. Lakshma Reddy today said the State Government will soon put in place one corporate hospital with all facilities in every district in the Sate.
Inaugurating a primary health center at Markuk village in Medak district on Monday, the minister said the KCR government is committed to provide better medical services to people in corporate hospitals to be coming up soon. He also announced that all the existing hospitals in mandals across the State would be upgraded into 30-bed hospitals. He also disclosed that 30-bed hospitals will be upgraded to 100-bedded hospitals with all facilities.
There is no dearth of funds to upgrade the hospitals, he said, adding that the State government was committed to keep it promise of equipping the hospitals with latest paraphernalia and modern facilities to prevent the patients from rushing to Hyderabad for corporate medical services. (NSS)
