Authorities sealed most of the roads and markets, including the busiest bazaar Lal Chowk in Srinagar. Authorities urged people to stay indoors, except for essential services and medical emergencies.
Srinagar District Administration has identified 88 containment zones across the Srinagar city and has sealed all the containment zones with only one entr-exit point left open for emergency purposes.
