cops on high alert ahead of 6 Dec

Police in Hyderabad have sounded a high alert ahead of December 6, the Anniversary of the demolition of the Babri Masjid.

City Commissioner police M Mahender Reddy, said that he has received information that few groups are trying to create disturbance effecting Public peace and inciting the antagonism among different communities with the anniversary of Babri Masjid on 6 December.

In order to maintain tranquility, City Commissioner has prohibited all possible procession, Dharna or any kind of public meetings. Any kind of pictures, gesture, or postings which are likely to create hatred between different communities, causing communal violence are strictly prohibited, said Mehinder Reddy.

A stringent action will be taken against them who found guilty or those who is violating the ban, except those expressly permitted by police, said Commissioner police.
