In a shocking incident two families Claim Same Corpse leaving cops helpless. Police come on conclusion for DNA samples of the dead body and of both families to the Forensic Science Laboratory on Thursday. However the body is burried by the family claimed first.
According to police, the body found two days agao and had been recorded as unidentified at the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) mortuary on December 5. Arshad from Bahadurpura calimed the body. Based on the photos produced by Arshad and found similarities, police handed over the body to Arshad.
However, Mohammad Ghouse from Amberpet approached the police claiming the same body. He said that his uncle Mohammed Rafiq had been missing since December 1. He had been extensively searching for his uncle and learnt about the unclaimed body.
Ghouse concluded that the unclaimed body documented at OGH mortuary was that of his uncle and, and later he learned that body was handed over to some other family.
Now, whether it was Salim or Rafiq who has died, the confusion will get nullified once after the DNA samples from the bone of the deceased and samples of both the families come on view. Ghouse alleged that the staff of Osmania General Hospital (OGH) is involved in trading dead bodies.
