Cops foil men’s bid to storm CM’s office

The police today frustrated attempts of the students belonging to Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU) to
lay siege to the Chief Minister’s Camp Office at Begumpet.

The PDSU members resorted to a flash dharna at the CM’s Camp Office demanding that the State government bear subsidy burden of gas cylinders on Social Welfare hostels. When they rushed towards the main gate of the Camp Office to barge into the premises, the eagle-eyed police personnel thwarted their attempts and took them into custody
and shifted them to the Begumpet police station.
