Cops creating hurdles for “Koluvulakai Kotlata’’ meeting: Kodandaram

The TJAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram has alleged that the police creating several hurdles to see that the students not attend “Koluvulakai Kotlata’’ meeting. He bemoaned that the police were not allowing the people to attend the meeting though the High Court has given permission to the meeting.

Addressing the “Koluvulakai Kotlata” meeting at Saroor Nagar grounds here on Monday, Kodandaram said the police detained over 2000 activists. He made it clear that TJAC will continue its movement till the unemployment problem was not solved. He said several people came to the meeting though the government obstructed them. He said the TJAC created a forum to wage the movement jointly for the sake of employment.

Congress leaders T Jeevan Reddy, Sravan, TDP leaders L Ramana, Peddi Reddy, BJP MLC Ramachandra Rao, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, educationist Chukka Ramaiah, Vimalakka, several peoples’ organisations leaders attended the meeting. The police deployed huge force around Saroor Nagar stadium. (NSS)
