Cooperative System Weakening Due To Politicians: DL

Health Minister Dr DL Ravindra Reddy has opined that the cooperative system was weakening due to the interference of politics in the State.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, DL said it was unfortunate that the political parties have been conducting the Cooperative elections staying in front row as against the spirit of Cooperative system. He made it clear that there was no relation between the political parties and the persons won the cooperative elections.

He said he did not understand whether it was fortunate or unfortunate on the part of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana to claim that the Congress had won the Cooperative elections. He urged the political parties leave the cooperative system to the farmers and extend support for the development of cooperative societies. (NSS)
