New Delhi, April 06: A cool Tuesday morning turned into a hot day in Delhi with the maximum temperature rising above the season’s average.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature touched 35.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.
The minimum temperature early in the day, however, was a cool 15.4 degrees, four notches below the average.
According to the IMD, the skies are expected to get partly cloudy over the next 24 hours and there is a possibility of thunder without rain in some parts of the city.
The minimum and maximum temperatures Wednesday are expected to hover around 16 and 36 degrees Celsius respectively.
