The convocation of Almahad – ul – Aali Islami will held today at Officers’ Mess, Malakpet. There will be a Symposium on “The role of religion in integration of the Indian Society”. Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani will preside over the symposium. Maulana Mohammed Asrarul Haq Qasimi, M.P. and Prof. Saud Alam Qasimi, Head of the Department of Theology, Aligarh Muslim University will be the guest speakers. Maulana Syed Akbar, Dr. Khwaja Mohammed Shahid, PVC of MANUU, Mr. Vithal Rao (Arya Samaj), Ms. Raminder Kaur (Sikhism), Mr. Vinbhikhamakara (Buddhism), Sri Kasturchand Maniklal Jhabak (Jainism), Anthony Raj Thamma (Christianity), Sri Salluri Selam, Advocate (World Human Rights) will also address the symposium.
