Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) – 2012 convenor Prof N V Ramana Rao on Sunday admitted that there were some mistakes in the question paper.
Talking to reporters after releasing the Eamcet key, Prof Ramana Rao said that while there no mistakes in mathematics and chemistry sections, some discrepancies were found in physics and botany sections. Some translation mistakes were found in question numbers 85,106, 113 of Set A; 96, 106, 119 of Set B; 81, 88, 115 of Set C and 86, 93, 116 of Set D of Physics section. Similarly the question number 20 of Set A of Botany had two answers.
The Eamcet Convenor said that the candidates could raise their questions and objections till May 19. The final key for EAMCET would be released on May 24 after taking into consideration the objections on key from the candidates. The marks and ranks of EAMCET would be announced on June 1.
