Mumbai, Aug. 10 : The controversial ‘god woman’ ‘Radhe Maa’ on Monday defended herself, saying that she is “pure and pious” and god will deliver justice to her.
“It’s not my fault. I am being troubled unnecessarily. I respect the media, the law and the police. I love my devotees a lot. I am pure and pious. I have never hurt anybody. When people come to me, God blesses them and so they say that Radhe Maa has done the miracle. This is not my fault,” she told the media here.
She then recited Kabir’s doha “Saanch barabar tap nahin, jhooth barabar paap, jake hriday saanch hai, take hriday aap,” which means that the highest penance is to speak the truth and the greatest sin is to tell a lie, adding “I have faith in God and I believe that he is with me and will not let anything happen to me or anybody.”
In the end, the self-styled god woman used two lines from Kishore Kumar’s song from the Bollywood flick ‘Dushman,’ “sachchai chup nahin sakati, banawat ke usulon se ki khushboo aa nahin sakati, kabhi kaagaz ke phoolon se.”
Yesterday, Mumbai Police issued summons to controversial self-styled ‘Radhe Maa’ for recording her statement in connection with a dowry harassment case and she has to appear within four days at the Kandivali Police station.
The self-proclaimed ‘god woman’ became the talk of the town for her pictures in a short skirt that went viral on social media. She has also been accused by a 32-year-old woman of instigating her in-laws to demand dowry. (ANI)
