Contractors are happy in TRS Rule: Ponguleti

Stating that only contractors were feeling happy in TRS government rule, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhkar Reddy has alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao achieved nothing except borrowing Rs.40,000 crore in the last 27 months.

Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Wednesday, Ponguleti asserted that there was no change in the attitude of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao though he completed two and half years in the office. The Chief Minister’s thinks in a manner that the sun rise only when he wakes up, he criticized alleging that the KCR was working against the interests of the people of all sections.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu were getting special treatment at Centre, Ponguleti said questioning KCR, who says that he achieved Telangana by doing lobbying at Delhi, as to why he was not getting funds from Centre. “As to why the Chief Minister is not demanding the Centre for special package to Telangana state? As to why the Chief Minister compromising with the Centre?” he wondered.

He suggested KCR not to compromise with Chandrababu as compromised in ‘vote for note’ case, in regard to any issue. (NSS)
