Hyderabad: Special Operation Team of Shamsabad Police foiled a racket of contract marriage and arrested four persons including a Sudanese national.
According to the report of the police, Mohammed (30) is a Sudanese national working as an accountant in Hyderabad. He sought the help of three brokers, namely; Mohammed Habeeb Khan, Shameem Sultana and Shabana Begum. He was making an attempt to enter into contract marriage for three months. He had paid Re. 1 lakh to the parents of the girl through Habeeb Khan. He was about to perform the contract marriage yesterday. Special Operation Team of Shamsabad Police raided his house at Mailardevpally and arrested him. Three other brokers were also arrested. Police seized his passport, Re. 1 lakh, $300 cash and marriage documents.
Special Operation Team handed over all the accused to Mailardevpally Police Station for taking further action.
