People of the city are facing lot of hardships due to non-functioning of ration shops in the twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad during stipulated timings. People express concern over unpunctuality of by fair price shop owners. A beeline is noticed at fair price shops in old city but the shops are not opened for hours, when they are opened for few hours the dealer declares “No Stock”.
On one hand the fairprice shop owners argue that the people don’t turn up to the shops hence they have to keep the shops closed, while the consumers on the other hand claim that whenever they go to the ration shop either closed or if it is open, then after waiting for hours in the queue when their turn comes they are told that there is no stock of the required item.
