Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali spoke to Telangana Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma regarding the appointment of permanent Chief Executive Officer in Waqf Board. He told Chief Secretary that Waqf Board required an officer of deputy collector rank for the post of CEO, hence name of the revenue department officer had been recommended to the government which awaited approval. Chief Secretary assured that he would soon seek Chief Minister’s approval on the file.
It must be noted that with the efforts of deputy chief minister an officer’s name was nominated and sent to Chief Ministers Office but the file had gone missing. After much effort the file was recovered and was handed over to Chief Secretary for Chief Minister’s approval.
