A.P. State Wakf Board took and important decision yesterday for the construction of the ramp at Dargah Hazrath Baba Sharfuddin(RA) with an estimated cost of Rs.4.5 crore. It has also planned to construct a road The hillock on which the Dargah Hazrath Baba Sharfuddin(RA) is located is at a greater high from the ground level due to which women, children and handicapped persons were facing a lot of difficulties in claiming 360 stairs. There is no shed on the stairs, which is causing inconvenience to the pilgrims during summer seasons. With the construction of ramp four wheelers could be used easily to reach on the top.
A.P. State Wakf Board has also revolved to sanction Rs.1.5 crore for the developmental works in the shrine of Hazrath Syed Shah Ishaq Madani in Vishakapatnam. .Walkf board also approved the constitution of 21 managing committees and 8 committee of Mulatawallis (custodians). In addition to this, Wakf Board resolved to register 8 wakf properties and amendment in the A.P. State gazette and the proposals of constructions for 5 wakf properties.
Talking to staff reporter, Siasat, Maulana Syed Gulam Afzal Biyabani told that the Dargah Hazrath Baba Sharfuddin(RA) is a very famous of A.P. where hundreds of devotes visit everyday. Since the shrine is a greater height, the devotees were facing a lot of difficulties. He himself visited the shrine and observed these difficulties. He further told that he was getting the presentations for a long time for making certain facilities are available to the pilgrims. Maulana Biyabani said that the shrine of of Hazrath Syed Shah Ishaq Madani is also a famous place of pilgrimage. A sum of Rs.30 crore is available in the bank account of the Shrine but it lacks basic amenities for the pilgrims. It has there fore been decided to undertake developmental work for this shrine. He informed that Wakf board had earlier sanctioned Rs.50 lakh each for the shrines of Hazrath at Bada Pahad in Nizamabad, Hazrath Jahangir Peeran in Shahdnagar and Kusmoor Shareef. He informed that it is his endeavor to take appropriate steps to make the access easier for Dargah Hazrath Syed Shah Saadullah Hussaini on the lines of Dargah Hazrath Baba Sharfuddin(RA) .
