Despite the direction by Minority Welfare Minister to complete the work before the beginning of Ramadan, construction of ablution tank is still incomplete. Besides this cleaning of toilets and laying of floor is still incomplete as a result devotees are facing a lot of problems.
Taraweeh began at Makkah Masjid on Wednesday, which is offered by thousands of faithfuls daily. Minority Welfare Minister had announced that the renovation work would be complete within two days. But when the devotees arrived at the masjid yesterday evening they were disappointed to see that tiles were still being laid at ablution tank.
It seems that it will take another one week to finish the work. Today is the first Friday of Ramadan hence devotees are advised to reach the masjid by making ablution at home.
