Construction of 51 temples: Muslim businessman decides to donate land, money

Lucknow: A Muslim businessman has made an announcement that he is going to donate his land and money for the construction of 51 temples. These temples will be constructed at different places in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

According to the report published in News 18, the name of the businessman is Rashid Naseem and he is the Chairman of Shine Group.

Talking about his decision, Mr. Rashid said that it will restore ‘Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb of Awadh’. He also said that it is a step for promoting communal harmony among the society.

It may be mentioned that the first temple construction by Rashid is likely to be inaugurated in the month of “Sawan”. This temple is on the Allahabad-Varanasi highway.

His target is to complete construction of 21 temples by the end of current year and the total of 51 temples before the end of next year.

It may be noted that Mr. Rashid had started his career as a realtor in 2013. Later, he expanded his business. He considers PM Modi as his inspiration, News 18 reported.
