Hyderabad: Chairman of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, Prof. Kodandaram demanded the Governor to constitute welfare fund for the benefit of Advocates of Telangana State. He was addressing a gathering on the occasion of release of CD depicting Advocates’ Struggle during Telangana Movement.
Prof. Kodandaram pointed out even though three years have elapsed after the formation of Telangana State, not a single issue pertaining to Telangana Advocate has been resolved. In this manner, TRS Govt. has failed completely to resolve the problems of the lawyers of Telangana. He demanded that Mr. KCR had promised that all the problems relating to Telangana Advocates would be solved but he did not fulfill his promise. He demanded the Govt. to form Advocates Welfare Fund and also to extend medical facilities to lawyers.
