A constable with the Armed Reserve died after his service weapon misfired in the wee hours today, police said. The incident took place when the victim Pullaiah (45) was on guard duty along with his colleagues on a patrol. However, he suddenly collapsed to the ground after his weapon misfired, they said. His collegues immediately informed the I-Town police about the issue and he was taken to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Further investigation is on, they said. PTI
