Constable arrested for taking bribe

Jaipur, July 07: A head constable of Rajasthan Police was arrested today in Pali district for taking bribe, officials said. Jawan Singh, posted as the head constable at Badagudha outpost under Bagdinagar police station, was allegedly asking a bribe of Rs 500 from one Sura Ram in lieu of submitting a chargesheet against one Bhanwar Lal, against whom the former had filed a case, they said.

A team of the Anti-Corruption Bureau today arrested Singh taking the bribe from Ram, they added.
