Miscreants have started proceedings to demolish an ancient Qutub Shahi mosque at Nadirgul road, Mallapur. A wall on one side has already been demolished.
It must be noted that it is the same Mallapur area where land grabbers had demolished an ancient Qutub Shahi mosque in the daylight on January 17 in a planned manner and had transformed the mosque into debris. They gave an excuse that the mosque was in precarious condition but Siasat daily published the original picture providing proof to its readers that the mosque was in very good condition.
Another mosque is located just 1 kilometre away from it. This mosque is in the centre of a farmland belonging to a non Muslim. According to a responsible non Muslim elder the land belongs to a man named Qadi Raj who presently resides in America. The land is 12 acre. He further told that prayer is not performed in the mosque since police action.
According to reliable sources the day when Masjid Balapur was demolished the same night getting motivated with the said incident. Some non Muslims tried to demolish this mosque also and taking advantage of the darkness of the night a wall has been demolished.
