We join the government of The Gambia to condemn in the strongest terms the burning of copies of the Holy Qur’an by US soldiers in Afghanistan. The move which came months after a US pastor also burnt a copy of our sacred text in his church is an exposition of the degree of conspiracy against Islam. All because Islam is the only formidable force in the world today that poses a major threat to the Masonic empire, and against it they have declared war.
This dirty war targets all races exploiting them as “war on terror” scapegoats simply because of their faith. Yet America’s media ignore how unjustly it harms millions of disadvantaged people. Why Muslims when, in fact, Islam teaches love, not hate; peace, not violence; charity, not selfishness; and tolerance, not terrorism; or that Islam, Christianity and Judaism have common roots.
Everything remotely reflecting Islam or Muslims is being targeted, ridiculed, criticized and condemned. Anti Islamic sentiments are allowed to freely sprout and conscious lobby is being made to solicit the backing of their laws in their quest to fight against Islam. The Muslim Ummah pay a blind eye to their arrogance because Islam teaches us not to harbour hatred against fellowmen and that those who reject the way of Allah will take notice of woe from Him and his apostles. However, burning of the glorious Qur’an is the height of provocation and would not be accepted.Such barbaric conducts must cease and Muslims deserve apology. Future acts of such can trigger conflicts which will be catastrophic to the world. Religion commands love, mercy and peace, all human beings must therefore adhere to the noble teachings of their religious scriptures and avoid antagonism of other faiths.
As Muslims we are aware that such activities and the conspiracy of the enemies is assisting the expansion of religion of Allah (SWT), because today, people are researching and trooping into Islam, as a result of curiosity, research and coming face to face with the true ethos of the religion. This is a testimony to the promise Allah (SWT) and His Noble Messenger (SAW) have made to the Muslims, that once we hold unto the rope and commandment of Allah as taught and practiced by the Holy Prophet (SAW), we shall never derail and get conquered by the enemies.
We are seeing the promise of Allah coming to reality that the religion of Islam will fulfil it righteousness and guide mankind to completeness whether the enemies like it or not. The promise of Allah will come to pass and Islam will regain its prominence and take the rightful place of redirecting the world’s hopelessness, confusion, bloodshed and mistrust; with peace, justice, happiness, equality and development.
The conspiracy against Islam will not withstand the test of time; because darkness and light will never withstand each other. No matter how long it takes the truth shall prevail against falsehood. We only pray for our leaders that are seriously conscientising, mobilising and energising us to live up to our religious obligations and commitment to Allah (SWT), His Prophet towards reinventing this religion of prosperity.
As far as The Gambia is concerned, the state will continue to defend the integrity of Islam, and promote the advancement of humanity through religious tolerance, harmony and peaceful coexistence; for we are convinced by experience that such is the only way to guarantee progress, peace and prosperity in the world.
