Cong’s Greater Hyderabad meet postponed

Hyderabad, June 26: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar today said the proposed meeting of key party functionaries of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Area, scheduled for tomorrow, was postponed to June 29.

APCC President D Srinivas will preside over the meeting, which will also be attended by Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and AICC Incharge of AP Affairs and CWC Permanent Invitee M Veerappa Moily, a press release here said.

The meeting is planned in continuation to the recent review meeting APCC President had with the Presidents of GHCC, Rangareddy and Medak DCCs. Besides, incharge Ministers, the MPs, Lok Sabha Candidates, MLAs, MLCs and Assembly Candidates of the party of GHMC area were invited.

APCC Vice-Presidents, General Secretaries, Heads of APCC Frontals and Departments of GHMC area and APCC Coordinators of Greater Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medak Districts will also take part.

Mr Bhaskar said a meeting of the Presidents of District and City Congress Committees, PCC District Coordinators, APCC Vice Presidents, Treasurer and General Secretaries will also be held on June 29. AICC in-charge of AP affairs and CWC Permanent Invitee M Veerappa Moily will take stock of the post-poll situation with the participants.
