Senior Congress leader and AICC secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy here on Thursday called upon all the Congress leaders to remain alert and strive for strengthening the party in the wake of the severe drubbing in the recent by-elections to seven Assembly constituencies.
Speaking to media persons here, Ponguleti said that it was not reasonable for the party leaders to work in conformity with their own personal and secret agendas causing severe damage to the party. He also lamented that the Congress leaders were reacting wildly more than the Opposition parties over the ruling party’s rout in the by-elections. All the party leaders should remain united and strive to restore past glory to the party, he added. (NSS)
