New Delhi, Aug. 4 : Congress party’s women wing staged a protest outside Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s headquarters here on Tuesday against the suspension of its MPs from Lok Sabha.
The protestors carried placards and banners with messages such as ‘BJP Hai Hai’. They also shouted slogans denouncing the BJP-led Government at the Centre.
The agitators also tried to cross the barricades placed to contain them.
“It is a black day. Mahila Congress opposes what they in Parliament yesterday. They are not concerned about democracy. We will let it happen,” said one of the protestors.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan yesterday suspended 25 Congress MPs over disruption of parliamentary proceedings under ruling 374 (A), leading to outrage from various quarters. (ANI)
