Vanga Geeta, Congress (former PRP) MLA has said that their leader Chiranjeevi getting Rajya Sabha nomination was a matter of happiness for all of them.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, she said Chiranjeevi has withstood many upheavals in his political career. She has expressed confidence that he would voice the state’s problems effectively in the Rajya Sabha. She has also said that Chiranjeevi would contribute to strengthening the Congress party and has reminded that he had already said that he would abide by the party High Command’s directions. She has expressed confidence that Congress would win the Tirupati Assembly seat being vacated by Chiranjeevi. (NSS)
