Congress will not win even seven seats: Laxma Reddy

Health Minister Dr. K. Laxma Reddy on Wednesday ridiculed Congress party’s claim of winning 70 seats in next elections and said that the party would not win even seven seats.

Addressing a meeting after laying foundation stone for various developmental works in Mahabubnagar district, the minister strongly criticised the Congress party and accused it of creating obstacles in the development of Telangana State. He said that the Congress has turned into anti-development party and it has been creating hurdles in almost every scheme being implemented by the TRS Government. He said that the Congress obstructed acquisition of land for irrigation projects in Mahabubnagar district and also in setting up of medical college.

The minister informed that two residential colleges were being established in Mahabubnagar district and the works on construction of toilets and boundaries for government schools were on.
