New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer and Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) leader Kirti Azad on Wednesday said the Congress is already losing political ground and runs the risk of losing some more clout by insisting on the banning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme.
“The Congress is losing ground, that’s why they are talking nonsense. I feel pity for them,” Azad told ANI.
“People have started a new campaign of ‘Save the Congress instead of ‘Save the Tiger’,” he added.
The Congress Party is likely to approach the Election Commission seeking a ban on the broadcast of Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, which is scheduled to be aired on Sunday.
Responding to the disappointment of Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) over seat-sharing for the Bihar assembly polls, Azad said: “There is no issue of being angry, Seats are yet to be distributed, only the numbers are decided. Settlement will be done, there is no reason to be worried.”(ANI)
