Hyderabad, May 19: Congress Rajya Sabha MP Chiranjeevi predicted that Congress will be successful in many constituencies in the by elections to be held next month.
He was talking to newsmen at the Shamsabad International Airport on his return from Nellore Parliamentary election campaign. He told that the people of the state are satisfied with the functioning of the Government and hence out of 18 Assembly Constituencies, Congress will win many seats. Congress workers have great enthusiasm. Chief Minister and Congress President are campaigning in favour of Congress candidates. After the Parliament session, Congress MP’s and Ministers will also campaign for the candidates. Filing of nominations has just started. Very soon, the campaign will gather momentum. He dismissed the allegation that Congress is taking revenge on Jaganmohan Reddy using CBI. He told that CBI is acting on Court orders. Congress has nothing to do with Court cases against Jaganmohan Reddy.
