Congress, TRS vying for top post: Narayana

CPI State president and Lok Sabha candidate from Khammam constituency Dr K Narayana today said main competition in Telangana State will be between Congress and the TRS.

Talking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Dr Narayana said there was no chance for other parties to come to power in Telangana. He alleged that there was no coordination among Communists. Due to lack of cooperation, Left parties are failing to tackle the issue, he said. Narayana also found fault with the Telugu Desam Party for forging an alliance with the BJP, which is communal. He said the TDP-BJP alliance was for seats and power.
The power hungry political parties are vying for clinching more number of seats, he said. He maintained that his party forged an alliance with the Congress this time and hopes to win the seats they are in fray. He also said both the Congress and the TRS are vying for top post in the region. Narayana said the election results to be announced on May 16 will decide the fate of all candidates, he added. (NSS)
