TRS legislator from Sircilla K. T. Rama Rao has alleged that it was due to the amoral policies of the ruling Congress and the main Opposition TDP that by-elections were necessitated.
Talking to the media here on Saturday, KTR demanded that if the TDP failed to win at least one seat in the ensuing by-elections, Chandrababu Naidu should resign as the Leader of Opposition and hand over the reins to some leader from Telangana.
Referring to the frequent talk of Naidu on corruption, KTR said that if only he had not obtained stays on cases against him, he would have been languishing in a jail by now. (NSS)
