Congress starts confidence building exercise

Congress senior leader D. Srinivas today said the newly-formed High Level Committee members could express their suggestions freely.
The former PCC chief was speaking at the first meeting of the High Level Committee at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday. He said except MLA J. Geeta Reddy, all other eight members attended the first meeting. He exuded confidence that the committee would be able to submit a detailed and concrete report to the party high command within the stipulated hundred days on how to strengthen the party in the Telangana State.
Srinivas said the committee members would visit all districts in the State starting with Warangal and Khammam within a month. He also said the committee would interact with all the stake holders and different sections of the people in the society and take feed back from them to strengthen the party since traditional voters lost confidence on party. He said the committee members would meet on April 27 to discuss about the terms and reference. Apart from interacting with the cadre, the committee members would maintain good relations with them and with their feed back “we would provide concrete solution”. (NSS)
