“Arrogance of power has gone to the head of BJP leaders. The statement of law minister Gowda, saying that 46 deaths are a silly instance is shameful, condemnable and reprehensible. He should apologize to the nation. He is also making a mockery of those who died and their family members,” said Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala.
He is also making a mockery of 760000 students, whose future has been put on question mark on account of this elaborate Vyapam scam. It time BJP answer the questions, that trying to hoodwink the truth,” he added.
Gowda had earlier tweaked his “silly issues” statement with regard to the Vyapam scam, saying that the case was a matter of serious concern.
Earlier, the Minister had said, “For each silly issue, asking the Prime Minister to answer, is not fair.”
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that he will request the state high court to order the CBI to conduct its inquiry into the Vyapam scam and added that he has complete faith in the judiciary. (ANI)
