Congress should Disown YSR :VHR

Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao has said that the party should abandon late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and asserted that there was no need for organizing his birth or death anniversaries.
Stating that the schemes implemented by YSR were all Congress schemes and people would be misled that they were the late leader’s as long as the leaders keep singing paeans about YSR. He also supported the government’s decision to provide legal aid to the ministers, who were served notices by the Supreme Court for issuing 26 controversial GOs. He said that the officers involved in the issuance of the GOs had certainly done wrong and they do not deserve legal aid from the government. He said that the government should explain why it had not provided legal aid to jailed former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana. (NSS)
