Congress Seva Dal demands party tickets

Over 200 activists of Congress Seva Dal on Monday called on Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah seeking tickets in the next elections.

Speaking to media persons later at Gandhi Bhavan, Seva Dal leaders Krishna Murthy and Javed Khan said that the Congress Seva Dal actively participates in welfare activities and render direct service to the people. Therefore, they said that the TPCC should allocate tickets for its activists from Secunderabad Lok Sabha and five Assembly segments in Telangana region. They demanded that party ticket from Musheerabad seat should be given to Seva Dal activists.

They informed that a similar representation has already been made to AICC President Sonia Gandhi at New Delhi. (INN)
