Congress scared of Elections: Talasani

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today launched a broadside at the opposition parties stating that the Congress and the BJP were panic stricken to face the elections. These parties are afraid of the elections and the Congress and Telugu Desam forging an unethical alliance shows they have no other option to face TRS.

Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature Party office here, he accused the congress leaders of enacting dramas stating that lakhs of voters’ names were deliberately deleted from the electoral list. The Government has nothing to do with the deletion of the names and the EC will take care of it. The court has observed that the issue is to be sorted by the EC to provide voting opportunity to all eligible candidates, he maintained. TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy is making comments of immature nature and also making false promises to the people if voted to power, Yadav said. The minister also chided that the dramas of the congress leaders will not fetch them votes despite making tall promises.

They are raising a hue and cry for political gains and the people are vexed with the corrupt congress regime and leaders who are known for failure to keep up the promises. The congress is adopting dual standards on the elections and moving courts, he averred.

Srinivas Yadav slammed the BJP national Chief Amith Shah for inciting religious and caste sentiments in the state ahead of the elections. The BJP cannot talk nonsense stating that the TRS has nexus with the MIM which is wrong. The TRS will fight and win the five seats won by the BJP in the city as the latter could not succeed in the election fray, he said. The TRS Government was involved in completion of the projects in a speedy manner. The past congress regime deceived the people by not completing the projects and failed in other sectors, he charged.
