Congress says AAP reaping fruits of what it has sown

New Delhi: The Congress Party on Saturday criticised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), saying that the party has brought in MLAs on alleged monetary considerations, and hence, is reaping what they had sown earlier.

“All this is surprising now, because what we are hearing and what we have seen in the past, Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Anand Kumar, all senior leaders of AAP, when they raised objections and leveled accusations on the selling of tickets during Delhi elections, they were brushed aside,” Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) chief Ajay Maken told ANI.

“They ( AAP) have sown what they reap by bringing in MLAs who were perhaps given tickets because of monetary considerations,” he added

“Whatever they have sown, they are reaping that. Seriously, they should revisit all the MLAs to whom they have given tickets, allegedly on monetary considerations and should take immediate corrective steps right now,” he further said.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called a meeting of all MLAs, with their families, tomorrow evening. In a tweet, Kejriwal said he would remind the MLAs why they joined politics and warns them that Asim Khan episode should not happen again.

Earlier on Friday, Kejriwal sacked the Food Minister Asim Ahmad Khan from his cabinet following a complaint of bribery. He said his government will not tolerate any kind of corruption and strict action will be taken against those found guilty.
