Congress returning to power alone important: Damodara

Former deputy chief minister Damodara Rajanarsimha has said his party returning to power was important and who will be chief minister was secondary. He also claimed several TDP leaders, including Vonteru Prathap Reddy would join the Congress soon.

In an informal talk with mediapersons here on Saturday, Rajanarsimha said the “BC chanting” by the TRS government was a drama. Stressing the need to encourage BC leadership, he faulted the State government to consider all BCs as on same footing. He said he had signed on the nomination papers of AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi, who was contesting for AICC chief post. (NSS)
