BC Welfare Minister Basvaraj Saraiah on Tuesday claimed that the Congress party would win all the seats in the by-elections to be held on June 12.
Talking to reporters in the State Secretariat, Saraiah said that the Congress party was fully geared up to face the elections and its candidates would win with a huge majority. He said that the Congress leaders in Telangana region would campaign unitedly to ensure the victory of Congress candidate in Parakala assembly constituency.
Regarding suspension of eight Telangana MPs from the Lok Sabha for four days, the minister said that the Congress party has already made an announcement in favour of Telangana State. However, the MPs were just mounting pressure on the Centre to honour its announcement. (INN)
