Congress playing drama to obstruct projects: TRS

Hyderabad: The Congress leaders are playing dramas in the State Assembly only as part of their conspiracy against the irrigation projects, Chief Whip Koppula Eshwar and Whip G Sunitha alleged. At Assembly Media point here, they accused the Congress leaders of creating mayhem in the house for political gain. They slammed the congress for adopting dual standards on passing the land acquisition amendment act. Though in the business advisory committee meeting, the Congress party agreed to make necessary changes, they took complete reverse turn in the house while passing the same, the TRS members objected.
The opposition members have gone blind over the success of the TRS public meeting at Warangal, which saw a turnout of 15 lakhs people, they alleged. The Congress cannot stop development works in the state as the government is committed for it, they said and slammed the opposition party for making vain efforts to misguide the farmers against the government. The farmers are not ready to believe in Congress and its misdeeds and will extend support to the government for its welfare schemes. Chief Minister KChandrasekhar Rao has kept the promise of Rs 17000 crore crop loan waiver which is a great reprieve for the farmers. Besides that, the KCR Government is coming up with unique schemes of encouraging fishermen, yadava communities, barbers and washermen and other caste based communities with needed support for reviving rural economy, they said. The opposition is unhappy at such schemes and plans of KCR and trying to obstruct them, the TRS leaders fumed.(NSS)
