The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday accused the Congress party of causing obstructing in the development of India.
Speaking after unfurling the national flag at State BJP Headquarters at Nampally on the occasion of country’s 69th Independence Day, Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy said that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working hard to develop India, the Congress party has been creating obstacles in the development of country. He also accused Congress of trying to divide the country on the communal basis. He said the Congress party did not learn any lessons despite suffering a humiliating defeat in last elections.
Kishan Reddy reiterated the demand for official celebration of Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17.
Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreyya, MLAs Dr. K. Lakshman, Ramchandra Reddy and NVVS Prabhakar and other leaders also participated in the Independence Day celebrations. (INN)
