Hyderabad: State Congress Committee of Telangana requested Pranab Mukherjee to investigate participation of RSS workers in R-Day Parade in Jagtiyal and ensure action against them. It said that it is against the democratic principles. The committee also requested the president to take stern action against the officials who permitted VHP workers to participate in the parade. The committee said that it is requesting the President after TRS Govt. failed to take any action.
Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy, President of Telangana Congress Committee, while talking to press reporters yesterday told that due to the friendship of Mr. KCR and Mr. Modi, the VHP workers got inspiration and they are actively participating in official functions. In a letter addressed to President, he said that instead of presenting the glimpse of national integration, district administration permitted the fundamentalists to participate in official parade.
