Revenue Minister Dr N Raghuveera Reddy on Sunday clarified that the Congress party never made any statement against former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
Talking to reporters during his visit to the district as a part of Prajapatham programme, Dr Raghuveera Reddy said that YSR belonged to the Congress party till his last breath and the party never made a statement against him. He said some leaders have been making statements against YSR at their personal level and their views does not represent the party. He said the Congress party would retain the strategy that it adopted in the last by-elections with regard to YSR.
The minister also expressed confidence that the Congress party would emerge victorious in all the 18 assembly seats where by-elections would be held soon. (INN)
