Congress manifesto, A Big fraud: Venkaiah

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu today described Congress manifesto as a document of “deceit and fraud”.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Naidu ridiculed Congress claim that 90 per cent of promises it made to the people were fulfilled. Even 9 per cent of promises were not met by the Congress, the BJP leader alleged. He rubbished the Congress claim of development and welfare of the people. Naidu alleged that the Congress had given wrong figures about developmental works it has taken up during the last 10 years of its regime.

Naidu called upon party workers to get ready for polls whether the party goes with an alliance or not. Replying to a query, the senior BJP leader denied reports that APCC former president Botcha Satyanarayana was in contact with him.

Naidu denied reports that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu put a condition that Purandeshwari should not be given a ticket. The latter did not make any condition not to give ticket to Purandeshwari, who is daughter of late NTR. (NSS)
