Hyderabad: Congress leaders across the State staged dharnas in front of all district collectorates demanding justice to the Intermediate failed students.
In Suryapeta district, TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy took part in the dharna program. Similarly, CLP Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and TPCC publicity committee chairperson Vijaya Santi took part in the agitation at Khammam and Warangal districts. In Siddipet, TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar, former TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah, former MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy and MLC Ramulu Naik participated in the agitation at Siddipet and Ranga Reddy Districts.
The police in all the districts arrested the agitating Congress leaders and sent them to various police stations. Senior leaders like V Hanumantha Rao, Anjan Kumar Yadav, M Kodanda Reddy were taken to Narayanguda PS, Ponnala Laxmaiah to Ramgopalpet PS, Ramulu Naik to Nampally PS and Malreddy Ranga Reddy, Challa Narsimha Reddy were taken to Musheerabad police station.
