Kolar, February 16:An unidentified gang allegedly hacked to death a local Congress leader who was also a former Gram Panchayat chairman at nearby Mulabagil village, police said today.
Ramakrishnappa was waylaid by the gang last night and attacked with lethal weapons when returning home on his two-wheeler, police said.
The Congress leader succumbed to his injuries enroute to hospital, they said.
